Bloxwich-based dentist to run a chain of local practices following funding from Santander
Dentist Dr Amit Jutlla is set to realise his dream of running a regional dental chain following the acquisition of a third practice in his home town, after receiving a £1.66 million funding package from Santander Business Banking.

Dr Jutlla has been practising Dentistry since qualifying in 2006 and purchased his first dental practice in Aldridge in 2008. In 2013, he purchased an additional practice in Shrewsbury and has since upgraded both to offer clients advanced services such as cosmetic dentistry.
The £1.66 million funding package from Santander Business Banking will allow Dr Jutlla to purchase and upgrade the site in Bloxwich. He already employs 18 members of staff and this will increase by five with the take-over of Ashleigh Dental Practice in Leamore, Walsall. In addition, he will look to replicate the successful formula of late-night and Saturday openings, which has proved very effective in attracting clients to his other two practices.

The business has seen real growth in recent years and it’s exciting that we are now able to open our third practice in the region. Our customers increasingly require flexibility and need to visit dentists and doctors outside of the ‘9-5’ so I’m delighted that we can now offer that.
