Crieff Hydro buys two west coast hotels

Independent hospitality group Crieff Hydro has bought the Isles of Glencoe Hotel and the Ballachulish Hotel on the west coast of Scotland for a seven figure sum.

The acquisition increases Crieff Hydro's portfolio of Scottish hotels to six. Crieff Hydro worked with banking partner Santander on financing the latest hotel acquisitions.

Crieff Hydro has managed both the Isles of Glencoe Hotel and the Ballachulish Hotel since 2014.

The company plans to continue investing in both hotels, which have a total of 112 bedrooms, starting this autumn with bedroom improvements.
