Devon pharmacy group adds Colyton Outlet to its portfolio with Santander support
A group of five pharmacists have purchased the Colyton Pharmacy in Colyton, Devon, after receiving a £1 million funding package from Santander Corporate & Commercial. The purchase is the latest addition to a growing portfolio of pharmacies across Devon by the group, with aspirations to grow further.
Led by Alfredo Aguado, the team purchasing the outlet are all highly experienced pharmacists and business owners, already running 2 pharmacies in the Devon area. The purchase will secure the jobs of the 8 people who already work at Colyton Pharmacy.
Colyton Pharmacy has been around for over 200 years and serves Colyton and the surrounding villages. The pharmacy includes a consultation room for Medicines Use Review assessments and dispenses approximately 11,000 items per month.
The £1 million funding package from Santander Corporate & Commercial will secure the future of this community pharmacy which is integral to the provision of health services to Colyton and the surrounding local community.
