Flipbook Studios is set for expansion and relocation following significant funding from Santander

Manchester-based Flipbook Studios, a leading video content producer, is set to expand its workforce and relocate to larger offices following significant funding from Santander Business Banking.

Flipbook Studios set expansion

Established in 2010 by entrepreneurs Ben Haworth and Andrew Lord, Flipbook has grown to a pan-European video reproduction company which uses animation and CGI to enhance visual content for TV commercials, dramas, film, video games and factual programmes. Their portfolio includes work completed for the BBC, ITV, Aldi and Reebok.

The funding from Santander Business Banking will enable Flipbook to relocate to new, larger offices in Manchester city centre to accommodate a second post-production suite. The post-production suites allow Flipbook to offer full offline and online editing and audio facilities, alongside their visual effects and animation services. The new offices will also accommodate the recruitment of three new employees.

Andrew Lord, CEO and Co-Founder at Flipbook said:

By expanding our team and relocating to larger offices, we are responding to an increased client demand for us to provide better post-production facilities, so that they can come to us as their one-stop visual content producer. The team at Santander have been a great support as we progress into the next stages of growth for our business.

Luke Rowbotham, Relationship Director at Santander Business Banking, said:

We’re delighted to have been able to support the team at Flipbook as they develop their business. They have grown into a leading pan-European video content producer in just seven years, and we look forward to seeing what is next for this ambitious business as they respond to their high client demand.
