Recent funding fuels Excel Water's continued growth
Leeds-based Excel Water, a leading manufacturer of products for water treatment, purification and filtration, has relocated to brand new trading premises following funding from Santander Business Banking.

The business was set up in the 1990s by Brian Field after spotting a gap in the market for the manufacture of demineralisation plants. The business is now owned and run by his son and daughter, Darren Field and Emma Armitage.
The funding provided by Santander Business Banking has enabled Excel Water to continue to grow the business via the purchase of its own bespoke trading premises in Allerton Bywater, West Yorkshire. The new facilities will allow Excel Water to increase the manufacturing and development of their own products to provide a better service to their clients.
Emma Armitage, Managing Director of Excel Water, said:
We’re really excited to move into our new, bespoke premises as we believe this is the key to continued growth and success. The support from Santander throughout the process of purchasing the new premises has been fantastic and they’ve shown real understanding and passion for our business.
Alex Druce, Relationship Director for Santander Business Banking, said:
Excel Water is a second-generation family business which has now capitalised on its achievements via the purchase of their own trading premises. We’ve been impressed by the dedication of the entire management team and are confident the new premises will allow the business to continue to expand and we wish them every success in the future.
