Santander's hub is launch pad for gamer Mechabit
Ten fledgling Liverpool start-ups which have benefitted from Santander's incubator space in the city are preparing for the next stage of their growth.
The hub at the bank's corporate banking offices in Liverpool's St Paul's Square has helped gaming firm Mechabit which has won vital funding from Creative England and Microsoft, having been started by developer Kevin Tsang in 2013. Mr Tsang went through Liverpool Chamber of Commerce's Spark Up programme which gave him the skills to run a business and pitch for funding. Mechabit's first full commercial game will be launched later this year. Mr Tsang hopes that joining Santander's incubator programme will help grow the business in the next 12 months to support development of original intellectual properties and reach a global market.
