West Kilbride Hotel builds stunning wedding venue with £2.5m Santander funding
The Seamill Hydro Hotel, which overlooks the Firth of Clyde and the Isle of Arran, has built a new £5 million function suite, hotel reception and foyer, and grand entrance atrium tower to cater for weddings and conferences following £2.5 million in funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial.
Its Firth Pavilion will cater for around 100 weddings in 2017 and in excess of 120 in 2018 – delivering significant revenue growth for the hotel and the creation of a number of new jobs.
The new Pavilion has also resulted in the hotel achieving a 4-star rating, turning it into one of the premier wedding and destination venues in Ayrshire and Scotland.
