Founded in 2010 by Richard Gerrard and Paul Goodman, GMS is an official distributor for leading global brands such as Bavelloni, Glaston, Forvet, HOAF, Techni Waterjet, Dip-tech and Forza G. The firm holds exclusivity agreements with its manufacturing partners, with GMS undertaking the sourcing, installation and servicing of all supplied machines to its UK and Irish client base. In an indication of the success of the business, GMS has seen revenues grow 49% across the two-year period to the end of FY2015.

Santander has supported Lyceum Capital with the £50m acquisition of Timico. This finance package will help Timico to become one of the leading managed cloud service providers in the UK.

The strategy includes investment in sales and marketing, developing a new go-to-market proposition and accelerating the company's shift to become an end-to-end managed cloud service provider. In addition to this, Timico’s organic growth plans will be accelerated through selective acquisitions.

Travelstar European Ltd, one of the West Midlands’ leading coach hire companies, has moved to larger premises in Portland Street, Walsall, to cater for strong demand for its travel. The firm was supported with a funding package from Santander Corporate & Commercial.

Taking inspiration from the natural resources at hand – sea salt and seaweed, the Provenance Group’s products are now present in 33 countries and have more in their sights. Cornish Sea Salt is now exported around the globe and has inspired a new product range, Living Sea Therapy, a luxury spa treatment brand.

Badgequo designs and manufactures a wide range of makeup as well as bath and body accessories and gift sets, with its highlighters and contouring kits seeing particular recent success. Its products are manufactured in mainland China and Taiwan and imported to the UK. Badgequo also has an office in Germany to grow the company’s European offering, and offices in Hong Kong and China to aid its supply chain management. 

Its Firth Pavilion will cater for around 100 weddings in 2017 and in excess of 120 in 2018 – delivering significant revenue growth for the hotel and the creation of a number of new jobs.

The new Pavilion has also resulted in the hotel achieving a 4-star rating, turning it into one of the premier wedding and destination venues in Ayrshire and Scotland.
